ALI Virtual Peace Summit 2020

ALI 2020 program was postponed to August 2021, as a result of the unpredictable factors of the pandemic. Instead, on August 29, 2020 the Andi Leadership Institute for Young Women held a virtual Peace Summit entitled Speaking Your Truth: Peacebuilding and Leadership in a Divisive Time.  Young women from Kenya, Turkey, Guatemala and the US joined the Virtual Peace Summit. Throughout a day full of interactive workshops and discussions the participants learned how evoking empathy and compassion within themselves and their communities is a key component in seeking the truth and evolving as leaders.
